Walking through the CARES Act PPP
We've submitted the paperwork for the PPP Loan, now how does our Community Art Center insure that we move forward following the guidelines?
Posted April 10, 2020
Background & Context
This loan/grant is essential to restart our organization. My hope is that everything is done perfectly and in 2.5 months we'll be back up and running. In the meantime, how do we navigate any type of denial for the loan, or how do we layoff (again) people who are required to be rehired?
Immediate Problem
The immediate problem/opportunity is the securing of this loan to keep the non profit alive.
Work & Deliverables
If the loan is approved, I'll need a call for advise on how to navigate the terms of the loan so that it becomes forgiven. If the loan is denied, I'll need advice on how to appeal.
Preparation Phase
- Intro call to Executive Director
Collaboration Phase
- Understanding the CARES Act for nonprofits
Wrap Up
- Proposal for the Board of Directors
