Background & Context
The coronavirus pandemic has generated complex and challenging legal issues that threaten the financial security and stability of American individuals and families across the country. Many Americans are presented with these challenges at a time when the long-term symptoms of COVID-19 have limited their functional capacity or prevented them from working altogether.
Work & Deliverables
Meet with the client and counsel them about the issue they are facing. Some clients may just need advice and counsel about their legal rights that will help them resolve their issue, while others may require more comprehensive representation.
Preparation Phase
- Enroll in the Pandemic Legal through the Pandemic Patients website
- Attend an introductory call with supervising attorney from Pandemic Patients
- Sign and return participation agreement to Pandemic Patients
- Wait to be matched with a client
Collaboration Phase
- Meet with client and collect information about the legal issue they are experiencing
- Attend a meeting with supervising attorney from Pandemic Patients to discuss representation strategy
- Counsel client, as appropriate
- Complete any tasks required to support the client's legal needs
Wrap Up
- Communicate with the client about any further options that may be available to them
- Communicate with the supervising attorney about the outcome of the representation
