Ms. PA is pursuing VAWA relief as a result of a very violent relationship that ended in 2014. She is also applying for asylum, withholding of removal, and relief under the Convention against Torture (CAT). She has a fear of return based on her gender identity. Ms. PA suffers from anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), rheumatoid arthritis, and hepatitis B and C. She is at high risk of contracting COVID-19 and developing a serious illness. Ms. PA has pending charges for trespassing and possession. She seeks an attorney to represent her in filing a humanitarian parole request. She is also a class member under Fraihat v.
