Background & Context
Our mission is to expand access to sustainable, community-based residential programs for individuals with mental health care needs. We intend to achieve this through our "Five Branches of Action:"
1. distribution of program grants,
2. micro-scholarships for individuals,
3. facilitating expert networking and training opportunities,
4. funding care research and development, and
5. promoting care farm solutions by providing adult and child education materials and programs in collaboration with schools, health centers, and other public entities
The CARES.green Foundation Ltd operates in coordination with our umbrella organization CARES.green PBC, which is building a aspiring BCorps and circular-economy boosting B2C/P2P digital platform for care farms can promote their mental health programs and services, collect donations, find other providers to collaborate with, and gain economic traction via the heart shop.

We are a budding nonprofit corporation promoting and funneling funds to the development of land-based mental health programs founded on community and sustainability. CARES stands for Communities Advancing Recovery, Empowerment, Sustainability, and founded in Colorado with an international team and with the intention of becoming a global resource. Our activities are meant to support the development and proliferation of care farm programs with and for communities where they are needed, and we intend to do this via our Five Branches of Action, which include: - Grants for care farms (existing and intending). - Scholarships for attendees with severe needs from low-income families. - Research for the improvement of mental health treatment. - Network opportunities for care farm experts to disseminate breakthroughs, exchange insight, and skills training. - Promotion of care farms within and without healthcare systems to expand access to effective services. We are currently building our foundation. We have our legal registration (both state and federal), pitch decks, logo, bylaws, temporary website (our platform is being built), and some internal organization, digital and legal infrastructure.
