Review of Intellectual Property Release Agreement (2 hours)
Improving medical education through free and open content. We have verbal and written agreements in place, but need a legal mind to help ensure our content will be open and free.

Emory University has agreed to release its claims of Intellectual Property for medical education curriculum created by Dr. Moore. They have provided a three page IP Release Agreement that we need a lawyer to review. The agreement seems straightforward, though loaded with legalese so a review by a lawyer acting in our interest would be of great benefit before we sign the document. We do not think the lawyer needs to have a specific focus on intellectual property, but general knowledge of that and contracts would be helpful.
Additional context:
Dr. Moore created a curriculum for medical education while she was working for Emory University. The curriculum has become so popular among doctors and residents that a non-profit is now being created to improve the curriculum and expand its reach. The release of IP from Emory is a necessary and critical step before launching the non-profit and expanding the work.
