ICE Director Nomination: Help Investigate Ron Vitiello

On August 6, President Trump nominated Ronald D. Vitiello to head Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). In anticipation of his Senate confirmation hearing, we are seeking two volunteers to file FOIA requests and conduct research on Vitiello. Under the Trump administration, ICE has arrested parents dropping their kids off at school, deported hundreds of parents separated from their children during the "zero tolerance" policy and jailed undocumented individuals in record numbers. If confirmed as the new Assistant Secretary for ICE, Vitiello will impact millions of citizen and non-citizen families at risk of losing a loved one to deportation.

We ask that volunteers file the FOIA requests regarding Vitiello within 2-3 weeks of initiating the project. We estimate the project will take 20-30 hours to complete. Thank you for your interest!
