We will be able to write for grants and seek donations in order to grow and share our missoion
Posted October 8, 2021
Background & Context
Fifteen years ago a group of farmers organized a co-op for farmers markets in order to provide farm-to-consumer sales of healthy food. Over the years, the co-op never realized a profit so the notion of a co-op was basically a no-never-mind. CFAM would now like to apply for and be granted a non-profit status so that we can write and receive grants and seek donations in order to grow and expand.
Immediate Problem
Receiving grants and tax deductible donations.
Work & Deliverables

Colorado Farm and Art Market
We are a fifteen year old organization that started as a group of farmers who started a co-op to conduct farm-to-consumer markets. The original idea was if the co-op made a profit, the member farmers would share the money. Fifteen years later, there has never been a profit. We would now like to be able to seek grants and donations in order to be able to grow and share our mission of farm-to-consumer healthy eating. We currently conduct farmers markets on Wednesday afternoons and Saturday mornings.
